Account Manager, Remote

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ecommerce, with a history of managing client portfolios and driving upsells. You’ll be a tenacious, commercially minded individual, with a passion for all things ecommerce and retail. Whether its small startups or enterprise brands, you’ll love helping clients to grow their business. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Own the success of Patchworks clients by taking responsibility for the satisfaction, retention and growth of each account.
  • Be, or have a desire to become, a subject-matter expert in the integration space. 
  • Communicate with clients to understand their roadmap.
  • Work closely with our product, client services, sales, marketing and partnerships teams to help generate commercial opportunities and support the company’s sales pipeline.
  • Communicate product and partnership updates to clients, inviting upselling or cross-selling opportunities and helping to drive the client’s growth.
  • Use your knowledge of the Patchworks Partner ecosystem to recommend new technologies to clients.
  • Create new business opportunities by using your relationships with clients to drive testimonials, case studies and references.
  • Use your relationships to open opportunities with other businesses within your client’s network.
  • Understand and/or have a desire to learn about a client’s product and wider ecommerce ecosystem – from the beginning of their customer’s journey all the way through to logistics.
  • Monitor and act on account health, including flagging and managing escalations.
  • Understand when clients are at risk of leaving. 
  • Prepare and conduct business reviews with clients.
Essential experience:
  • A positive, energetic individual with a passion for ecommerce and digital experience.
  • Able to thrive in a quota and results-driven role, with a desire to have a number to hit.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent client-management skills.
  • Great negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A demonstrated ability to deal with change, think strategically and make complex decisions.
  • Process and task-oriented, with exceptional organisational skills and a diligent attitude. 
  • A self-starter who’s able to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • A willingness and aptitude to learn.
Desirable:
  • Experience with some or all of the following: Google Workspace, Keynote/Powerpoint, Excel/Sheets/Numbers, Jira, Hubspot, Asana.
