The challenge

Founded in 2005 by Emily Bendell, Bluebella.com is a fashion-led luxurious lingerie brand based in London.

Having initially launched on a shared online store, alongside a complementing fashion brand, Bluebella decided it was time to re-platform to their own eCommerce site, integrated with a back-office accounting function.  

Bluebella selected Shopify-Plus for their online store and Netsuite ERP to automate their stock and order processing.

As it was Bluebella’s first experience of deploying eCommerce and ERP, as well as integrating these systems, they anticipated the challenge to be substantial.

The brand were aware they needed to work with an experienced integration provider that had expertise in connecting Shopify Plus and Netsuite and could support them through the process.

The solution

The key objective of the project was to integrate Netsuite to Shopify and to Bluebella’s WMS, Torque, to deliver a fully functional eCommerce platform that could scale as the business grew.  
As with every new customer project, Patchworks ran a 360º validation on Bluebella’s business critical functions prior to implementation to assess their requirements, both current and with future growth.
With the introduction of new and integrated systems being a significant change for Bluebella, Patchworks not only supported with the integration aspect of the project, but helped Bluebella with the whole migration, advising the company on preparing and adapting to new their business practices.

Results

The newly deployed integrated platform supported in excess of 200% growth of volume sales, without impacting the quality of Bluebella’s customer experience.
